Flocking to Twitter in response to an official club announcement by West Ham United, many Irons supporters have dropped their takes on the signing of promising young forward Armstrong Oko-Flex from Celtic.
The 19-year-old has become another youth signing by the Irons after he put pen to paper on a two-year deal at the London Stadium which includes the option to extend for a further year.
Oxo-Flex has already made his debut in senior football, amassing two appearances for the Celtic first team before his move to West Ham (whufc.com). Primarily a winger, the teenager can also play in a more central role and has been described by the London club’s website as ‘skilful, quick and sharp’ in front of goal.
Academy manager Ricky Martin also confirmed that Oko-Flex is someone West Ham have been tracking for ‘several months’, with many supporters now flocking in full reaction to the announcement of his signing.
