The England international kicked off 2024 in style as she provided two assists in Manchester City's 4-0 win over Durham in the FA Women's Cup fourth round on Sunday. In the seventh minute of the match, Kelly found Laura Coombs inside the penalty box with an inch-perfect cross from the right flank and the midfielder slotted the ball home with a perfect volley. The 25-year-old then set up a pass for Jill Roord, who doubled her side's lead in the 38th minute.

Roord then scored a second goal in the 69th minute, from another England international Laura Hemp's pass, before Mary Fowler – who came off the bench in the second half – completed City's rout with a brilliant solo effort just three minutes before the end of regulation time.

Kelly is enjoying a fine season for City, having recorded five goals and five assists in 13 domestic appearances. Her continued presence will be vital for the Manchester outfit as they seek to land some silverware in the second half of the season.
