Loads of Rangers fans have been reacting on Twitter after the club released an official announcement confirming the departure of chairman Dave King.
A tearful King announced he would leave the club at the AGM back in November, and despite the current uncertainty due to world events, he has kept his promise and will depart to focus on his other businesses.

According to an official club statement, Douglas Park will replace King as the interim chairman while John Bennett will take over as Deputy Chairman of RIFC.
The club insists this is a step forward, highlighting Douglas’ financial backing and fan engagement as well as Bennett’s three decades of experience in investment management.
