His third wicket partnershipof 123 runs with skipper Md Azharuddin (69) played a leading role inHyderabad drawing the game. Azharuddin faced 94 balls and hit ninefours. Nandakishore and MF Ahmed (51 off 146 balls with nine fours)ensured that Hyderabad would hold out for a draw with a sixth wicketstand of 61 runs off 18.3 overs. Hyderabad, who had followed on afterfalling 199 runs behind on the first innings, ended at 338 foreight. Aashish Kapoor who took four wickets in the first innings,again bagged four wickets for 97 runs. Tamil Nadu got five points andHyderabad three.
